Due to its size, there is a chance that liquids stored in this container may leak when stored on its side.
When storing for long periods of time, please make sure to close the lid on the container. The polyethylene used to make the lid shrinks over time, so when stored separately the lid may become hard to close, or in the worst case no longer fit the container. If you soak the lid in hot water over 60 degrees Celsius, the lid may stretch in size, but there is a possibility it will not return to its former size. Not safe for microwave or dishwasher use.
